Founded by Salvador Claret i Naspleda (1909-1984), the Salvador Claret Automobile Collection is made up of more than 200 Spanish and foreign cars, motorcycles, velocipedes, stationary engines and aviation material.
The Collection prioritises the preservation of Spanish makes not only of automobiles and motorcycles, but also engines and bicycles. Its exhibits cover many of Spain’s historical vehicle manufacturers, such as Hispano-Suiza, Pegaso, Orix, Ricart, David, Bultaco, Montesa, Fusté, Gobern and J&J.
The work performed by the Salvador Claret Automobile Collection to retrieve and research automotive exhibits surpasses any other such efforts in the sector in Catalonia.
