Ter Museum

We are based in Manlleu, in a privileged riverside setting, where visitors can learn about the distinctive process of Catalonia’s inland industrialisation, thanks to the force of the waters of the River Ter and its natural attributes.

The Ter Museum is housed in the former cotton spinning mill of Can Sanglas, dating back to the year 1841. With its two hydraulic turbines still in operation, this is an impressive display of the heritage of the first industrialised era which transformed the region.
